More than 700 pedestrians cross the Licking River Bridge every day!

Bridge Fact!

The original bridge was built in 1936. It helped Kentuckians and visitors cross the river between Covington and Newport for 90 years!

Covington

The Carroll Chimes Bell Tower is located in Covington's Mainstrasse historic district. The tower is 100 feet tall and was named after Julian Carroll, the governor of Kentucky in 1979 when the tower was built.

Newport

Newport on the Levee is home to a variety of local retailers and restaurants, a movie theater, the Newport Aquarium, and over 200,000 square feet of community gathering space. There's always something exciting to do at Newport on the Levee
